Equipping the laity of the Diocese for ministry through the power of
the Holy Spirit

Paseo for our diocese is under the care of The Right Reverend Clark Lowenfield, Bishop of the Diocese of the Western Gulf Coast. It is closely modeled after the Roman Catholic apostolic movement, Cursillos de Cristiandad, or “Short Courses of Christianity”. It is a renewal effort recognized by many different denominations, including the Methodist Church (Walk to Emmaus) and the Lutheran Church (Via de Cristo). Thousands of Christians around the globe have attended this apostolic weekend and are currently actively involved in the fourth-day movement.
